59-59-Q6729 McNair Hall Painting Services This is a turnkey project. The University is seeking a qualified commercial painting contractor to furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, services, and supervision required to prime, paint and repair walls in the interiors of McNair Engineering building for approximately 58,094 of assignable space (+/- or up to 85,000) sq. ft. Contractor will use the existing standard color for painting which is most likely Navaho White. Contractors are encouraged to take their own measurements and must verify the field. Contractors are expected to use the appropriate methods for priming, painting, and the repairing of walls in accordance with the specifications herein. Painting shall consist of classrooms, offices, corridors, communal areas, other general service areas and trims. Trim colors may differ. There shall be no accent colors used. Painting shall not include exteriors or closet spaces. Contractor may not use University sinks or bathrooms for paint clean up. Contractors may not dispose of painting materials in any University waste disposal units or any place on the University’s campus.
