PRESOLICITATION NOTICE
Project # 558-18-153 Add Emergency Power for HVAC
The Department of Veterans Affairs, 508 Fulton St Durham, NC has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, material, supplies, equipment, transportation, permits, license and qualified supervision for Project 558-18-153, to Construct Entry Canopies at the Durham VA Medical Center, Durham, NC.
General Scope: (a) General: The project will consist of installing emergency power to feed two new generator and two new automatic transfer switches for building 1 and building 23 on Durham VA medical center s campus. (b) Construction Cost: Estimated cost of construction: Range: $1,000,000 - $5,000,000 (c) Construction Duration: Contractor shall have 20 weeks (140 days) to complete the project. (d) Phasing: Project construction will be completed in phases. (e) Construction Services: Perform work as described above and in accordance with professionally developed design drawings and specifications. (f) Place of Performance: Tasks will be performed at the VA Medical Center Durham, NC. Work will be around an occupied healthcare facility in operation 24 hours a day. This area will require appropriate personal protective equipment and proper infection control measures
Estimated construction magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.

This solicitation is anticipated to be a Total Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside. Solicitation material will be available on/about November 3, 2022. Any specifications, drawings and amendments will be posted on this web site. Proposals will be due approximately 30 days after issuance of the solicitation. Location and points of contact for site visits will be identified in the solicitation.
