The Department of Veterans Affairs, Fayetteville VA Medical Center, located at 2300 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, North Carolina 28301 will be soliciting offers for Fire Protection Engineer Services-Life Safety Survey. The Contractor shall provide services of license professionals fire protection engineer and support staff to update and inspect patient healthcare buildings to determine the latest edition of NFPA 101-Life Safety Survey Code, NFPA 99-Health Care Facilities Code, and The Joint Commission requirements to include the May 1, 2021 VHA-Joint Commission Clarification Document Summary of Discussion Issues Related to VHA Implementation of the Joint Commission Environment of Care (EC) and Life Safety (LS) Standards. A request for Quote (RFQ) 36C24623Q0121 will be issued on or about December 5, 2022. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. The period of performance is December 15, 2022 (or date of award) through January 15, 2023. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the offer submission process. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award; contractors may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov. The applicable NAICS Code is 541330 Engineering Services with a Small Business Size Standard of $22.5 million. The solicitation will be issued as unrestricted. All offerors are responsible for downloading all documents including amendments at the Federal Business Opportunities website without further notification from the Contracting Officer.
