Description

The Medical Readiness Contracting Office – East, Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC), Fort Bragg, NC 28310, intends to solicit, negotiate and award an unrestricted competitive award for lease of one automated compounder. The proposed solicitation number is W91YTZ23Q0007 and the resulting award will be made on SF 1449, for commercial services. The NAICS for this requirement is 325412 Pharmaceutical Preparation Manufacturing and the product service code (PSC) is 6515. The point of contact for this requirement is Megan Byrnes, megan.a.byrnes.civ@health,mil, and the Contracting Officer is Mr. Lonnie Robinson at lonnie.k.robinson.civ@health.mil. REQUIREMENT:



Interested Contractor shall have the ability to provide one compounder for lease, any required software for full operation of the compounder.





Contractor shall provide training and installation of compounder within 30 days of award of contract. Period of performance of the contract is 1 April 2023 – 31 March 2024, and possibility of four 12-month option years.





List of requirement in Compounder Capabilities:





1.1 Automated compounder capable of total parenteral nutrition (TPN) manufacturer as well as cardioplegia and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT).



1.2. Interface with TPN calculation software.



1.3. Compounder (plus a back-up) capable of pumping both macro and micronutrients from plastic, glass or syringe containers.



1.4. System offers on-site training for compounder.



1.5. Interfaces with TPN Calculation software that has ability to perform Calcium/Phosphate check from referenced sources.



1.6. Perform gravimetric check following compounding operation.



1.7. 0.2ml minimum pumping volume.



1.8. Self-calibrating pump.



1.9. Warning indicator for incompatible mixing sequences.



1.10. Integrated scale to weigh product.



1.11. Closed system type.



1.12. System must be able to produce a record of mixing activity for audit and quality assurance purposes.



1.13. System can track component Lot numbers and expiration dates.



1.14. System to utilize a laser barcode reader (plus back-up) to verify setup, additive components, and final product label.



1.15. System interfaces with printer for report generation.



1.16. System must be capable of tracking manual additions.



1.17. Software must be compatible with Microsoft Windows operating system.



1.18. System shall include dedicated computer for operation with color capable monitor.



1.19. Lease contract for compounder that also includes the ability to purchase any necessary supply items.



1.20. System must efficiently use compounding resources to decrease waste of pharmacy supplies and ingredients.



1.21. Ability to compound neonatal TPN and fluids for patients
