The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District requires a contract to perform trenching and backfilling at Falls Lake Dam and Reservoir, Raleigh North Carolina.





The project includes shallow trenching and backfilling in support of USACE installation of dam safety equipment at Falls Lake Dam. Prior to commencing work, the Contractor shall locate and mark utilities that intercept the proposed trench excavation. The Contractor shall conduct asphalt pavement cutting and trenching within a relatively flat parking area near the crest of the dam. The excavation shall be approximately 21 linear feet, minimum 18-inches deep. USACE personnel will install PVC conduit and cable for existing instrumentation.





This solicitation is a 100% Small Business set-aside.





The contract issued will be Firm Fixed Price.





The Magnitude of Construction of this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00





This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be available on or about 27 January 2023.





The bid opening date will be specified in the solicitation when it is issued. No additional media (CD-ROM, floppy disks, facsimiles, etc) will be provided. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. Other methods of requesting a package will not be honored.





The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238910- Site Preparation Contractors and the size standard is $16,500,000.00.
