The Government hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source Firm-Fixed-Price contract to Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics for commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) cost per test equipment lease. The contract will consist of 6 months; the period of performance is April 1, 2023 - September 30, 2023. Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics is the only source available to provide cost per test equipment lease because the company already has the equipment in place at Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune. The contract allows for the testing of new equipment that will be delivered to the lab during the POP. The total estimated value is $254,874.68. Market research has determined that Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics has a strategically sourced Federal Supply Schedule contract V797D-30175 lab cost per test equipment lease, which is valid through May 31, 2023. Responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government, would not be cost or time prohibitive, and would not hinder the mission objective of Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune. The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. This is not a request for quote or proposals. Questions or comments to this Notice of Intent should be directed to Contract Specialist, Sheila Pusey at Sheila.l.pusey.civ@health.mil. Please indicate in the subject of your email: Notice of Intent Question Submission PR 11899227.
