The 4th Contracting Squadron, Seymour Johnson AFB, NC intends to award a sole source purchase order to Ace Maker Aviation, LLC. The Air Show at Seymour Johnson AFB requires a T-33 Shooting Star for solo aerobatic demonstration.

APPLICABILITY OF AUTHORITY:

This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures as authorized by FAR 13.106-l(b)(l). The procurement is for Air Show Performance and Services. Due to the fact that Ace Maker Aviation, LLC is the only company that provides the T-33 Shooting Star. Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract lies solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement. The anticapted award is February 2023.
