Description

PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE



Base Motor Transport Division, aboard Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Lejeune, North Carolina has a requirement for a Contractor Owned Parts Store (COPARS). The contractor shall be responsible for providing all supplies and management for the operation of the store. The requirement will be for a base and one (1) twelve-month option year to be exercised at the discretion of the Government.



It is the Government’s intention to issue a Time and Materials contract to satisfy this requirement. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 336310 Motor Vehicle Gasoline Engine and Engine Parts Manufacturing. The Government will solicit and award this contract using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR subpart 16.601 and FAR subpart 13.5.



There will be two (2) contract line items (CLIN) on the contract. CLIN 0001 labeled Parts will be the time and materials portion of the contract and CLIN 0002 labeled Store will be firm fixed price portion of the contract.



This synopsis is not a request for quotes or proposals. The solicitation No. M6700123Q1146 will be posted on or about 15 days after this posting and made available on the Contract Opportunities Portal located at www.SAM.gov. It is the responsibility of the offeror to continually view the website for the solicitation and any amendments. Contractors interested in doing business with the Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at www.SAM.gov. Contractors must also ensure annual representations and certifications are current or complete them at the SAM website www.sam.gov. All prospective offerors interested in submitting an offer must have a commercial and government entity code (CAGE code). Contractors must be registered with Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) at www.wawf.eb.mil.
