NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE

Contracting Department, Marine Corps Installations East, Camp Lejeune, NC intends to issue a Sole Source contract to Northern Defense Industries, 441 Log Canoe Circle, Stevensville, Maryland 21666. The determination to not compete this proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the Government. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i).

THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, interested parties may submit a quote and technical capabilities, which, if received timely may be considered. All responses must be submitted to the Government point of contact at the email address shown below.

This requirement is for a quantity of two (2) MSR to X32 cables (part number G011476), a quantity of one (1) MSR to X31 cable (part number G011477), a quantity of one (1) cooler element (part number G010466) and 12 labor hours to complete the repair of the FLIR Ranger HDC 800 Camera which is part of the Safety Security System aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 334511, Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing. The size standard for this requirement is 1350 employees.
