NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE

Contracting Department, Marine Corps Installations East, Camp Lejeune, NC intends to issue a Sole Source contract to Duffield Aquatics, 113 Metro Drive, Anderson, South Carolina 29625. The determination to not compete this proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the Government. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i).

THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, interested parties may submit a quotation and technical capabilities, which, if timely received may be considered. All responses must be submitted to the Government point of contact at the email address shown below.

This requirement is for a quantity of two (2) BECSys5 Water Chemistry Controllers (part number XS1GP1OPBX) and a quantity of one (1) BECSys7 Equipment Room Controller (part number XS1GP1XCXPBF). The controllers are needed to provide continuous monitoring and control of sanitizers, oxidizers, pH levels and total system flow rates of chemicals administered to the pools upon Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 333310.
