PSC: 4920 - Aircraft Maintenance And Repair Shop Specialized Equipment

Commander Fleet Readiness Center (COMFRC), Patuxent River, MD, solicitation N6852024R0026 will be issued to initiate a competitive source selection and award for a firm-fixed price (FFP) contract to one Prime contractor in support of Fleet Readiness Centers (FRC) East, to procure services for the upgrade of the Cooling Turbine Test Cell (CTTC). Services will be performed at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Cherry Point, NC to include direct support of the test cell upgrade, through removal of the existing system, design, acquisition, installation, integration, and testing tasks necessary to successfully complete the performance requirements. In support of the acquisition, the Government will provide the Contractor Government Furnished Information (GFI) to include drawings the Contractor shall use.

The intended FFP contract ordering Period of Performance (PoP) is one (1) year. The estimated number of labor hours required is 4,850 to fulfill the requirement in accordance with the Statement of Work specifications.

Security Classification Level: Unclassified

Set Aside Status: The acquisition will be competed as a small business set aside per the Market Research and Sources Sought notice, N6852023R0041, posted to SAM.gov 8 August 2024 during the Market Research phase.

Contract Type: The anticipated contract is a single award Firm Fixed Price (FFP).

The Official Request for Proposal (RFP) is scheduled for 15 March 2024. Proposals will be due 28 April 2024 following the official release of the RFP. The contract is anticipated to be awarded 20 September 2024, depending on the necessary duration of the source selection evaluation phase.

After the official release of solicitation, the Government will provide the opportunity for industry to submit questions, feedback or comments related to solicitation up to 15 days after RFP formal release. The Government will provide answers back to Industry NLT 30 days after RFP release.
