NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE

Contracting Department, Marine Corps Installations East, Camp Lejeune, NC intends to issue a Sole Source contract to US Molders Inc., 59 West 100 North, Reynolds, Indiana 47980. The determination to not compete this proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the Government. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i).

THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, interested parties may submit a quotation and technical capabilities, which, if timely received may be considered. All responses must be submitted to the Government point of contact at the email address shown below.

This requirement is for a quantity of forty (40) 8’ foot plastic block wall panels. The walls (Part Number USM-129-14 (green) and USM-129-07 (tan)) are composed of self-healing, injection-molded plastic material that eliminates shattering, ricocheting, and reduces the risk of fire. The wall panels are needed to support live-fire training exercises on several ranges at Camp Lejeune to meet Pre-Deployment training requirements. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 326199.
