The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Medical Center, Butner, North Carlina intends to issue a Firm Fixed price, Sole Source purchase order to Granville Medical Management, Oxford, North Carolina 2756. This is non-competitive action being issued the Federal Correctional Complex, Butner, NC. The Federal Correctional Complex has a need for inmate 911 transporting services to and from Federal Correctional complex and local hospitals. Interruption of services would cause the Government undue hardship. FCC Butner is in Granville County, North Carolina band North Carolina Federal Statutes, Chapter 153A, subsection 301, dictates all Emergency Medical Services within Granville Medical Services under NAICS 621910.

Therefore, only one Emergency Medical Services is available in the local areas to respond to majority of the emergency transportation requirements. These services will be for the period of October 1, 2022-September 30 ,2023.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. This is a sole source procurement under the Simplified Acquisitions Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition (FAR 6.302-4). The intent of this of Special Notice is for informational purpose only. However, all information received within 15 working days after the date of public notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
