Pre-Solicitation
The Department of Veteran Affairs, W.G. Bill Hefner Veterans Medical Center (VAMC), Salisbury, VAMC is seeking a contractor to provide test and monitor Water for (3) Dialysis locations Salisbury, Kernersville, and Charlotte. The contractor shall provide services which include all collection, preparation for shipping samples, shipment samples, completion of the chain of custody forms/records as well as all other required documentation for analysis of water and swab samples for water-born bacteria upon customer specific request and reporting the results to the Salisbury Veterans Health Care System. The numbers of samples may vary greatly from year to year based on need; roughly a minimum of 2500 samples to a maximum of 7500 cultured or laboratory analyzed samples of various types.

A request for Quote (RFQ) 36C24624Q0557 will be issued on or about March 20, 2024. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price contract in accordance with all terms, conditions, provisions, and specifications of the solicitation. The period of performance is April 1, 2024, through March 31, 2025, or the base period, with four (4) one year renewal options that can be exercised by the Government. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the offer submission process. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award; contractors may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov. The applicable NAICS Code is 334510 Electro-medical and Electro- therapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing 1,250 number of employees. The solicitation issued will be 100% Small Business (SB) Set-Aside. All offerors are responsible for downloading all documents including amendments at the Federal Business Opportunities website without further notification from the Contracting Officer.
