Synopsis: VA Pre-Solicitation Notice for VISN 06 Emergency Pulmonary Physician Services
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO 06), Hampton, VA on behalf of Salisbury VA Health Care System intends to sole source solicit for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pulmonary Physician services for the Salisbury VA Health Care System located at 1601 Brenner Avenue, Salisbury North Carolina. This pre-solicitation announcement publicizes the Department of Veterans Affairs intent, to solicit for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pulmonary Physician under sole source intent.
The VA anticipates issuing a sole source solicitation for this requirement. The VA will accept proposals throughout the current year until 12/08/2022. The solicitation will be available for download from http://www.fbo.gov. Interested contractors will be responsible for downloading copies of the solicitation (and any subsequent amendments) from that website, and no hard copies are available. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractor(s) about the proposal submission process. Prospective Offeror(s) are encouraged to register their interest in the solicitation on the FBO website so that they are notified of the issuance of the solicitation and any amendments. Proposals will be evaluated for award on a periodic basis.
In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database under the applicable NAICS Code. Firms may obtain SAM information at https://www.sam.gov. To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered in SAM. Registration is free and potential offerors are encouraged to visit the SAM website and register as soon as possible.
NAICS Code is 56120 (Temporary Help Services) with a small business size standard of $30 M. The classification code is Q521. This requirement will be solicited on a sole source basis. There is an anticipation of one award from this solicitation, which will be made commensurate with the needs of the Salisbury VA Health Care System. All responsible sources may submit proposals. The VA will consider for evaluation only proposals from source(s) found to be responsive and responsible.
The VA will only consider proposals from contractor(s) who can provide a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pulmonary Physician who will be available to provide services upon award of contract.
