This procurement is serving as the first DoD pathfinder pilot for the large-scale purchase of CFE in a vertically integrated electricity market. DLA intends to purchase CFE from Duke Energy Progress, LLC (DEP) through DEP's Green Source Advantage (GSA) Bridge tariff program in North Carolina and the approved GSA tariff program in South Carolina, both with state-level, public utility commission approved programs.
