Each Bid Proposal must be made on the blank forms provided in the Contract Documents and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope and addressed to Arche McAdoo, Finance Director for the Town of Carrboro. The name, address and the NC Contractor’s License Number of the Bidder must be plainly written on the outside of the envelope, and the envelope marked “Town of Carrboro – Jones Ferry Road Median Modifications Project.” The bid proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Proposal Guarantee in the form of a Bond or a Certified Check payable to the Owner in an amount equal to not less than five percent (5%) of the bid.

from the Town’s website. Please submit questions or inquiries at least seven (7) calendar days before the Bid Due Date. Questions or inquiries past this deadline may not be addressed by the Town prior to the Bid Due Date.
Bidders must be properly licensed under North Carolina state law to perform the work.
Bidders will be required to comply with the President's Executive Order Number 11246. Requirements for bidders and contractors under this order are explained in the service contract.
The Town of Carrboro reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or technicalities as it may deem to be in its best interest.
