Pursuant to Section 143-131 of the General Statutes of North Carolina, sealed proposals for Chapel Hill Community Center Roof Replacement (the “Project”) to be furnished to the Town of Chapel Hill, N.C. will be received by Zakia Alam, Purchasing and Contracts Manager, Town Hall, 405 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Chapel Hill, N.C., until Thursday, October 12, 2023, at 1:00 p.m.

Prospective bidders may view the plans and specifications for the proposed project on the Town of Chapel Hill website ( www.townofchapelhill.org . Click on the “Businesses” menu, then the “Bid Notices” option, then the name of this project).

A Mandatory Pre-Bid conference will be held on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am, at 120 S Estes Dr, Chapel Hill, NC 27514. All potential bidders are hereby notified that attendance at the pre-bid conference is mandatory for bid submittal.

The Project Manager for this project is Forrest Heath - Public Works, Town of Chapel Hill. All requests for interpretations related to this RFB must be submitted in writing to the Project Manager at fheath@townofchapelhill.org by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, October 4, 2023. All responses to timely submitted requests for interpretations will be emailed to the prebid meeting attendees in the form of an addendum on Thursday October 5, 2023.
