Pursuant to Section 143-131 of the General Statutes of North Carolina, the Town of Chapel Hill is seeking bid proposals for the Public Works Fleet Department Oil Change Pit Infill (the “Project”). Bid proposals are due by 1:00 pm on November 10, 2022. Please email proposals to Zakia Alam, Purchasing and Contracts Manager at zalam@townofchapelhill.org .

Prospective bidders may view the plans and specifications for the proposed project on the Town of Chapel Hill website ( www.townofchapelhill.org . Click on the “Businesses” menu, then the “Bid Notices” option, then the name of this project).

A Mandatory Pre-Bid meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, from 10:30 am - 11:30 am at the Public Works Administration Building (#1) 6850 Millhouse Road, Chapel Hill, NC 27516.

The Project Manager for this project is Forrest Heath - Public Works, Town of Chapel Hill. All requests for interpretations related to this RFB must be submitted in writing to the Project Manager at fheath@townofchapelhill.org by 5 pm on Tuesday, November 1, 2022. All responses to timely submitted requests for interpretations will be published in the form of an addendum on the Town’s website on Friday November 4, 2022. The addendum must be acknowledged on the bid submission
to be valid.

A Performance Bond or Payment Bond will not be required on the contract price.

A Bid Bond will not be required.

The Town of Chapel Hill reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any reason or no reason and to accept the bid most favorable to the Town of Chapel Hill.
