North Carolina State Ports Authority is accepting construction bids for pavement upgrades to the inland port located at 1301 Exchange Street, Charlotte, NC. Bids will be received for Single prime construction contract. All proposals shall be lump sum.
The project includes: furnishing materials identified in the contract documents and the provision of all labor and equipment to perform the work associated with the project. The project includes the removal and stockpiling of approximately 2.2 acres of aggregate base course in the existing gravel yard, grading and subgrade preparation, replacement and addition of aggregate base course and placement of heavy-duty asphalt pavement. Replacement of approximately 2 acres of existing asphalt container yard with a thicker asphalt and aggregate base course section. Milling and overlay of approximately 0.4 acres at the entrance and exit of the terminal, and Provide erosion control, storm drainage installation and paint striping of the container yard. |
