For Riverside Park – two (2) parking areas with stormwater controls; a pedestrian plaza with grand pavilion and staircase; new restrooms and changing area; refurbished existing restroom; picnic pavilion; demolition of existing picnic shelter; non-motorized boat ramp; play area; natural and asphalt trails; wetland enhancement and stream restoration; significant fill removal; associated park amenities (signage, picnic tables, benches, grills, and landscaping); and associated clearing, drainage, erosion control, and pavement marking; re-vegetation and seeding; reclaiming and restoring all construction access areas;

For Taylor’s Wave – construction of a single in-river boulder ledge wave feature with an adjacent aquatic life and boater bypass channel that, collectively, span the French Broad River; riverbed excavation and bank terracing and stabilization; construction of put-in and take-out areas identified on plans; preparation of construction access plan and routes; installation and removal of temporary cofferdam(s) and water control structures as required by PERMITS; removal of old railroad bridge pier remnants.

The Project is located at 1476 and 1630 Riverside Drive and in an adjacent section of the river approximately 100 yards north (downstream) of the Craggy Bridge.
