PUBLIC NOTICE OF PROPERTY LEASE

The Onslow Water & Sewer Authority (ONWASA) intends to enter into a three (3) year lease of the following Authority owned property for farming purposes beginning January 2024: Approximately 232.5 acres of cropland in Tracts A – I, Farm No. 5024 (also known as Boggs Farm) located in the Richlands Township of Onslow County.

Offers will be considered for the entire 232.5 acres for the use of cropland. Partial offers will not be considered. All persons interested in leasing the land are invited to submit sealed written offers to Sherry Jones, ONWASA Operations Coordinator, 228 Georgetown Road, Jacksonville, NC 28540, no later than 2:00 pm on October 10, 2023. Offers shall include, at a minimum: Date of the offer, name, address, phone number, and the offer amount per acre.
