The Onslow Water and Sewer Authority (hereinafter referred to as ONWASA) requests proposals for Lawn Care Maintenance. Proposals will be received in the Finance office of ONWASA at 228 Georgetown Road, Jacksonville NC 28540 until 2:00 pm February 2, 2024.

The successful proposer (hereinafter referred to as “Contractor”) shall furnish all permits, materials, equipment and labor necessary for performing all work associated with mowing and trimming at ONWASA’s Facilities named in this RFP. Work is to begin upon issuance of an executed Purchase Order in April of 2024 and continue through December of 2024. This time frame may be adjusted as needed at the will of ONWASA upon mutual agreement with Contractor.

Contractors submitting a proposal are hereby notified that NC General Statutes relating to licensing of contractors will be observed in receiving proposals and awarding Contracts.

A mandatory site visit for all bidders will be held at the North Topsail Beach Wastewater Treatment Plant at 1095 Hwy 210, Sneads Ferry, NC on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at 9:00 AM. A mandatory site visit for all bidders will be held at the Webb Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant at 250 Zachary Lane, Hubert, NC on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at 11:00 AM. This will allow prospective Bidders to physically inspect the work location before submitting a proposal. Bidders who fail to attend the mandatory site visit shall have their bids rejected as non-responsive.
