The Craven County Solid Waste Department intends to enter into an agreement with one or more qualified firms to provide consulting services in preparation for natural disasters or other debris generating events. These services include, at no additional cost to the County, participation in scoping meetings, planning, annual workshops, or other meetings as requested by the County Representatives to establish or review applicable policies and procedures associated with disaster debris management and monitoring. The Consultant shall also provide the County with one half-day training session on the most current version of the FEMA Public Assistance Program and Policy Guide (PAPPG), current or proposed amendments to the PAPPG, any new or proposed FEMA Public Assistance (PA) policy or procedures guidance documents, and any current Disaster Specific Guidance (DSG) that have been issued by FEMA in the last 18 months.
