PCB Handling Services
The purpose of this project is for the City to have an on-call Company coordinate and execute projects related to PCB contamination at treatment facilities and in collection systems. These projects will involve the facilities that were contaminated in 2014 and any infrastructure that may be contaminated in the future. Charlotte Water, a department of the City of Charlotte will recommend a contract award for one Company to execute various tasks including but not limited to decontamination of various infrastructure, removal and replacement of contaminated piping and equipment, decontamination process side stream treatment, and waste hauling and disposal. Contract term is five years.
